~ Sunday School ~

There is an education hour at 9:45 am each Sunday (except during the summer months), between the regular church services, for all ages, beginning at age three (our nursery is staffed every Sunday from 8:15 am until 12:15 pm).  In addition to Sunday School and Confirmation, the education hour provides an opportunity for stimulating and informative Bible study and conversation for adults with the pastor.

Children's Church is held during the second (or alternative worship) service for ages four through fifth grade.  The children have the option of attending Children's Church in the Fellowship Hall or remaining in church with their parents, following the Children event.  In Children's Church they are involved in crafts, music, and other church-related activities.

Confirmation  begins, typically, with sixth graders. It is a three-year experience, running from September through May, with learning events, fellowship, and servant experiences on a weekly basis. Parents are actively encouraged to participate with their students.

Adult membership classes are offered periodically (speak with Pastor).

Vacation Bible School is offered for one week each summer. Calvary offers an intergenerational VBS - for ALL ages! The Parish Education Committee can always use teachers, aides, helpers, and snack donations.

Following Labor Day each year, we rally together to start a new year in Sunday School.
